For security, never use a USB drive or files from untrusted sources. If in doubt, contact your IT department or Beacon Support.

See Magic Scripts Overview to learn more about these kinds of files.

A USB drive, also known as a memory stick, thumb drive, or flash drive, is a portable device used to store and transfer computer files.

When working with magic scripts, you need a properly formatted USB drive to store the script then insert the USB drive into a USB port on your robot. USB drives you receive from Hirebotics are already formatted and ready to use. USB drives you obtain elsewhere may need to be formatted to function properly with magic scripts.
