In this exercise, you will learn how to combine different weld types to create a complex weld path using the Beacon Welding software.

Once you have completed this exercise, learn how to edit a part in Exercise 10

Planning complex multi-weld sequences

0:00

now let's incorporate all the weld moves

0:02

that we've learned so far

Starting with linear weld programming

0:04

so let's start with the linear welds

0:11

again utilizing my two buttons here

Defining linear weld start and end points

0:18

click the start point

0:21

and the end point

0:24

and now we're going to go right into a

Transitioning seamlessly to radial weld mode

0:25

radial weld

0:27

so I'm going to highlight radial welds

0:31

and then grab the puck again and do a

Programming curved section with multiple points

0:33

few points around this turn

Adding air move for safe navigation to next area

0:43

okay so now I've created a linear weld

0:46

right into a radio welds let's add an

0:49

air move

0:51

so I'm going to select air move

0:54

we'll bring the robot

Positioning for tack weld operations

0:55

up out of the way

0:57

and then we'll bring it over the part

1:02

now let's add a couple attack welds

Programming corner tack welds for reinforcement

1:04

so I'm just going to go back to teach

1:06

weld points there

1:08

and highlight tack weld

1:10

so we'll do one on each corner

1:22

okay

Final air move for stitch weld positioning

1:23

let's add another air move

1:26

up over the part

1:30

and then let's add a stitch welt so I go

Adding controlled stitch welds for heat management

1:33

back to teach weld points

1:36

select a linear Stitch there

1:51

okay let's hit save

Saving complete multi-weld program

1:55

and then let's create a new playlist

1:57

with this part
