βšͺ The light is off

The bridge isn't getting power.

  • Check the power cable at both ends.

  • Confirm the outlet or power strip is live.

If the light stays off, contact support.

πŸ”΅ The light is blue

The bridge is starting up. This is normal for the first few seconds after you plug it in.

If the light stays blue for more than a minute, contact support.

🟒 The light is green

Everything is fine. The bridge is powered, on the network, and talking to the Hypertherm.

If you're seeing a problem while the light is green, the bridge isn't the cause. Contact support with details of what you're seeing.

🟑 The light is yellow

The bridge can't get a response from the Hypertherm.

  • Make sure the Hypertherm is powered on.

  • Check the cable between the bridge and the Hypertherm β€” it should be plugged in firmly at both ends and not pinched or damaged.

The bridge retries on its own. As soon as the Hypertherm answers, the light turns green β€” you don't need to restart anything.

If the light stays yellow after checking the cable and the Hypertherm, contact support.

πŸ”΄ The light is red

The Hypertherm is replying, but the bridge can't read what it's saying. Yellow (pulsing) means nothing is coming back at all β€” red means something is coming back, but it's garbled. This is usually caused by electrical noise on the cable or a damaged cable.

  • If the light turns green within a few seconds, you can ignore it.

  • If the light stays red, check the cable between the bridge and the Hypertherm for damage or kinks, and make sure it isn't running alongside high-voltage lines.

  • If the cable looks fine, unplug the bridge, wait five seconds, and plug it back in.

If the light stays red, contact support.

🟣 The light is purple

Diagnostic mode is on. This is not a normal operating state β€” support may ask you to turn it on, but otherwise it should be off.

To turn diagnostic mode on or off: press and hold the button on top of the bridge until the light pulses purple (about 5 seconds), then release. The same press toggles it β€” if the light becomes solid purple, diagnostic mode is now on. If the light returns to its normal color, diagnostic mode is now off.

If none of the steps above fix your issue, contact support with:

  • The color and pattern of the light.

  • What you were trying to do when the problem started.
