Organizations are how we group together users and machines in Beacon. At its most basic form an Organization can be thought of as your company in Beacon. Within this organization we will have users who are members of teams and robots who are contained within a specific team.

Organizations have a single administrator who is responsible for the initial creation of the organization at beacon.hirebotics.io. Once an organization is created, users can be invited to join a team within the Organization on Beacon. This invitation will send an email to the user informing them they have been invited to a team. When a user clicks on the Magic Link invitation they will be taken to Beacon and signed into the system.

Some other specific capabilities the admin has is creating teams, assigning team managers, determining which robot events are published to the chat system within Beacon.
