If your Cobot Welder is not opening the correct program upon initial power up you may need to add the default program to the installation file so that it knows what to open. Follow along in this video as we show you how to do this. NOTE: You will want to ensure that the loaded installation is labeled default, not the welding program installation. You may or may not need to exit from Auto to Manual mode using the password that was created to secure the cobot.
If the installation listed on the top of the pendant screen is welding_program then you will need to switch to default installation before proceeding. Here is a short video showing you how to switch. Once switched follow along below.
On the pendant, go to the Installation tab at the top of the screen
Using the left-hand menu choose General -> Startup
Make sure the box beside Load Default Program is checked and then select the text box below
When the file browser opens choose the folder applications -> com.hirebotics.beacon.welding
Select the program welding_program
Choose Save from the top menu and then choose Save Installation as and resave it as default
