The Miller Auto Deltaweld 350 can operate with 230V single phase or 208/230/460V three-phase power; however, when it leaves the Hirebotics factory, it is configured for 460V three-phase power.
Important
Before proceeding, disconnect the welder from the power source by unplugging it. Use proper Lock Out Tag Out protocol.
Three-Phase Input Power Change
To change the incoming voltage setting, you need to remove the right side panel of the welder. There are screws holding the panel in place; remove them using a 3/8" Nut Driver, then slide the panel out of the cabinet.
Follow the instructions below to move the jumper board in the welder to the correct setting for the voltage you wish to use.
Re-attach the right side panel and reconnect the incoming power. Power on the welder and verify that it boots without error.
Single Phase Power Setup
Remove the right side panel from the welder by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place with a 3/8" nut driver, then slide the panel out of the enclosure.
First, configure the incoming voltage selection by following the instructions below.
Once this is complete, you will need to configure the welder for single-phase power by removing the incoming cable attached to L3 from the contactor, as shown below.
Re-attach the right side panel and reconnect the incoming power. Power on the welder and verify that it boots without error.
