Copying parts is useful for having the same part on multiple robots or testing out variations in a separate space. It is also easy to do!
Parts that are copied are unique. They are not linked to the original part - meaning any changes you make to the original will not be reflected in the copy and vice versa.
Let's get started!
Navigate to the parts screen.
Select the part you want to copy.
Select "Copy Part".
Give the copied part a name.
Select the robot you want to copy to and click OK to confirm.
The robot must be the same model and have the same equipment type.
Example: A part taught on a UR10 using a Miller Deltaweld may only copy to itself or other UR10's using Miller Deltaweld.
Select "COPY PART" to complete the copy.
The part should now be shown on the robot you chose.
