Beacon is required to be connected to the internet to startup and operate. We strongly recommend a hardline ethernet connection as it will provide the most reliable connection. Below you can find information on networking requirements and how to verify your internet connection.
Firewall Requirements
If you are behind a firewall then ensure you provide outbound access to the following. Beacon does not require inbound ports to be open.

Notes:
The asterisk in *.hirebotics.io is a wildcard which means to allow outbound access to all sub-domains under hirebotics.io.

View/Configure Network Settings - e-Series
On the teach pendant, open the Menu in the upper right
Select Settings
Select System > Network
From this screen you can now configure the network based on your needs. If you see Network is connected then you know you have a valid network connection.
