This guide shows you how to power on, power off, or restart your robot from the teach pendant.

On the teach pendant, press the Power Button, then wait for the robot to start up. ​

2. Next, <a href="https://help.hirebotics.com/en/articles/14316286-how-to-initialize-the-robot-arm-polyscope-x">initialize the robot arm for operation</a>.

On the teach pendant, open the menu, then tap Shutdown. ​

Tap Power Off. The robot powers down safely and applies the brakes on the arm joints. ​

Tap Restart. The robot powers off, then powers back on. ​
