Often it's helpful to save set up instructions and fixture locations within Beacon contextually on your parts. For example, save pictures of how you set up a part, part drawings, or other visual information to help your team.

If your organization is not yet subscribed to Beacon Pro Plan, you can request this feature from your billing manager within the app. When accessing a Beacon Pro Plan feature a screen pops up with information about the feature and how to subscribe. Billing managers are shown a link to manage the organization's subscription. Other users are shown a button to request the feature, which sends an email to the billing managers indicating their interest in the feature. You can always reach out to support if you want Beacon Pro Plan and are unsure how to subscribe.

Launch Part Attachment Previewer

Within a part you will notice the attachment icon in the top bar.

Launch attachment viewer

Upload Your Attachments

The first time you launch the previewer for a part you will not have any attachments. You can easily upload attachments by clicking the large plus icon.

Depending on your device and where your attachments are stored, you'll want to browse your files or photo library for the attachment you want to upload. Repeat this process for each file or image you want to upload.

The below screenshot demonstrates a part with two images.

Launch Full Screen Viewer

From the part attachments list, click on the image you want to see full screen. You can swipe between images as well as double tap or pinch to zoom in and out on your attachment.

Double tapping on an image will zoom in to the area you double tapped. You can pan around your image or pinch to zoom back out.
