Learn about robot status icons and colors

When viewing robots in the Beacon app, a colored status icon displays below the robot's name at the top of the app, along with which part or program may be loaded. In this article, we explain what each icon means.

Icon

Description

Gray power symbol indicating the robot is powered off.

Red square indicating the robot is powered on and not playing a part or program.

Green play symbol indicating the robot is playing a part or program.

Yellow pause symbol indicating the robot has paused playing a part or program.

Red triangle with an exclamation point indicating the robot lacks network connectivity to Beacon servers. See Troubleshooting Networking Issues.

Red octagon with an exclamation point indicating the robot has a protective stop error. See teach pendant for details.

Red circle with a minus sign indicating the robot has an emergency stop error. See teach pendant for details.

Yellow jagged circle with an exclamation point indicating the robot has a safeguard stop warning. See teach pendant for details.
